Branded Caller ID, also known as branded calling, refers the display of a customer caller name on a wireless device when a call is received. It's similar to legacy CNAM technology, which provides caller ID for landlines, but is designed for mobile networks.

Caller ID reputation refers to how a phone number is perceived by carriers and analytics providers. Whether the call is displayed with a clean phone number or flagged as spam or scam likely. Poor reputation can result in calls being blocked, ignored, or simply starting calls off on the wrong foot.

While branded caller ID helps identify who is calling, caller ID reputation determines whether the call is delivered with a clean number or labeled as suspicious. Both are important for improving call answer rates and maintaining trust.

Numeracle offers two products to support both branded caller id and caller ID reputation management: Smart Branding enables caller name display on wireless devices, while Number Reputation Management protects phone numbers integrity by monitoring and improving how your calls are labeled across the ecosystem.
