Update to Call Intent Field

Calls Meeting Certain Criteria to Display updated Call Intents

We've made great progress in the last couple of weeks updating the call intent fields associated with your registered phone numbers per request.As the result, we have received limited reports of calls continuing to be displayed with inaccurate intent labels (i.e Telemarketing).

Reminders

While we can remediate reputation labeling (Spam, Scam, etc.), the carriers do not offer remediation of call intent.To prevent inaccurate intent labeling display, we recommend confirming the intents associated with your registered numbers are correctly identified. To review call intent associated with your numbers:

  1. Log into the Portal
  2. In the Number Management section, intent is displayed in the Number Profile section\

The call intent categories recognized by the analytics are:

  • Account Services
  • Appointment Reminder
  • Appointment Setting
  • Attorney/Law
  • Billing
  • Customer Services
  • Debt Collection
  • Emergency
  • Financial Service
  • First Responder
  • Fundraising
  • Government
  • Healthcare/Hospital
  • Informational
  • Insurance
  • Other
  • Pharmacy/Medical Supply
  • Political
  • Real Estate
  • Sales/Telemarketing
  • School/College
  • Survey

To request edits to call intent for any of your numbers, please reach out to support at support@numeracle.com, and we’d be happy to assist you.

Additional Action

The likelihood of intent labeling displayed can also be reduced by contacting your originating service provider and requesting a CNAM update for the number in question.
